MONSTA X member Kihyun has unveiled a unique teaser for his upcoming solo album, using AI-generated images to give fans an early glimpse of the release.

On July 3, Starship Entertainment released a video titled "Don't You Have Any New Songs? Introduce Them to Us!" through MONSTA X's official YouTube channel. Instead of a traditional highlight medley or concept teaser, the video challenged Kihyun to identify tracks from his upcoming album based solely on AI-generated images created from each song's lyrics.

At first, Kihyun struggled to distinguish between 'Lazy Day', 'Late Night Drive', and 'Stealin' Air', joking, "The AI got it wrong. Humans are still better."

After getting into the rhythm of the game, he successfully identified 'Howling', the title track 'So Good', 'Domino', and 'Late Night Drive', earning the chance to listen to short previews of each song. As he listened, he reacted with expressive gestures and facial expressions, even humming parts of the melodies to hint at each track's atmosphere.

Introducing the title track 'So Good', Kihyun said it has a refreshing feel but differs from the typical bright, summery sound. He also acted out the song's powerful bridge to convey its dynamic progression. Speaking about 'Domino', he noted that while many songs today run just over two minutes, the track includes a full bridge, expressing confidence in its completeness.

Kihyun also revealed that 'Late Night Drive' is his favorite B-side on the album, saying he was especially drawn to the song despite it being a genre he had never attempted before.

Rather than simply previewing new songs, the content encouraged fans to guess the tracks alongside Kihyun, reflecting the growing trend of interactive K-pop teaser content that goes beyond traditional concept photos and highlight medleys.

Kihyun will release his second solo mini album 'Borderline' on July 7 at 6 p.m. KST, marking his first solo comeback in about two years.
