Monsta X's Kihyun unveils 'BORDERLINE' concept photos, announces comeback with "So Good"
by TelloWoo · allkpopKihyun of MONSTA X has unveiled concept photos for his second mini-album 'BORDERLINE.' The album, with the title track "So Good," drops July 7, Starship Entertainment announced on June 30.
The 'MAP BUILDING' version photos cast Kihyun as a traveler on his own journey — navigating with a lantern and following signposts, set against a blue backdrop of constellations and musical notes.
'BORDERLINE' centers on Kihyun finding and carving out his own path rather than following a set one. The earlier trailer and concept photos have laid out that journey step by step, from departure to exploring new routes.
The title track "So Good" builds on rising guitar lines and Kihyun's vocals, capturing the moment of deciding to trust one's own instincts.
This is Kihyun's first solo album in four years, after his 2022 solo debut 'VOYAGER.' He debuted with MONSTA X in 2015 and is known for tracks like "Trespass," "Dramarama," "Shoot Out," "Follow," and "Love Killa."
