NEXZ previews ‘Mmchk’ shorts challenge ahead of comeback

NEXZ has kicked off its comeback promotions with the early release of a shorts challenge for its new track “Mmchk.”

On April 20 KST, JYP Entertainment shared a challenge video featuring members Tomoya and Yu through its official social media channels. The two showcased confident performances and catchy choreography set to the track’s upbeat rhythm, quickly drawing attention.

The upcoming single album includes three tracks: the title song “Mmchk,” “HYPEMAN,” and an English version of “Mmchk.” The members participated in writing the lyrics, highlighting their growing involvement in the creative process.

NEXZ’s second single “Mmchk” is set to be released on April 27 at 6 PM KST. On the same day, the group will hold a comeback showcase, followed by additional global showcases in cities such as Taipei, Hong Kong, and Bangkok.

Formed through “Nizi Project” Season 2, NEXZ is a seven member multinational boy group introduced by JYP Entertainment approximately six years after Stray Kids. The group name stands for “Next Generation,” reflecting their ambition to lead a new era through music and performance.
