MONSTA X kicks off Japan leg of ‘THE X : NEXUS’ world tour

MONSTA X is bringing the heat of its world tour to Japan.

On April 28 KST, the group officially kicked off the Japan leg of its “2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR THE X : NEXUS” at LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay in Chiba. The concert runs for two days through April 29, followed by additional performances in Osaka on May 3 and 4 at Ookini Arena Maishima.

The “THE X : NEXUS” tour represents a culmination of MONSTA X’s 11-year musical journey, connecting their past, present, and future into one cohesive narrative. Through this tour, the group aims to strengthen its bond with fans, known as MONBEBE.

Since launching in Seoul last year, the tour has successfully traveled through major cities including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, and Jakarta. With powerful live vocals, high-energy performances, and a rich setlist featuring hit medleys and individual stages, MONSTA X has continued to prove its status as a “currently evolving artist.”

The group has also maintained strong visibility in Japan, previously appearing on 'CDTV Live! Live!' and successfully holding a solo concert in 2025, marking their return to the country after six years.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X achieved another milestone with its third U.S. full-length album 'Unfold,' becoming the first K-pop act to have three American studio albums. The release entered the Billboard 200 and ranked No. 2 on Top Album Sales, No. 9 on Independent Albums, and No. 37 on the Billboard Artist 100, highlighting the group’s global impact.

With the Japan leg now underway, MONSTA X is set to continue its worldwide momentum and connect with fans across the globe.
