MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and Shownu appear on ‘No Prepare’

MONSTA X members Hyungwon and Shownu showcased their calm confidence and understated charm during their appearance on ‘No Prepare’, winning praise from viewers.

The pair appeared on the July 3 episode of ‘No Prepare’, the YouTube talk show hosted by Lee Young Ji, where they shared candid conversations over drinks while celebrating MONSTA X’s 11th debut anniversary. Throughout the episode, their composed demeanor and thoughtful exchanges left a lasting impression.

Hyungwon, who previously went viral for casually telling Lee Young Ji, “Have a seat,” during his solo appearance on the show in 2022, returned with Shownu to showcase an even more mature side.

When asked about his views on relationships, Hyungwon said, “I don't really trust or like people by nature.” He then turned to Shownu and added, “He's the only person I'd be okay losing out for. Even if it means I'm at a disadvantage, I can adjust to him and do anything for him.” His heartfelt remarks offered a glimpse into the deep trust and friendship the two have built over the years.

Shownu also stood out for his steady and dependable personality. While sharing stories about Lee Young Ji's early career, he showed his attentive side, and during a conversation about MBTI personality types, he surprised viewers by empathizing with Feeling-type perspectives despite identifying as a Thinking type. His quiet sincerity came through naturally without being overstated.
