Singer K.Will will pay tribute to his late friend and fellow artist Wheesung in an emotional upcoming episode of 'Immortal Songs'.

The June 6 broadcast will feature the second part of a special dedicated to renowned composer Kim Do Hoon and his musical legacy. Alongside performances from several artists, K.Will will return to the program for the first time in eight years.

For the special stage, K.Will selected Wheesung’s beloved ballad “I’m Missing You,” a choice personally requested by Kim Do Hoon.

Reflecting on the decision, Kim Do Hoon shared that he had previously declined invitations to appear on the program during a period when Wheesung was struggling with health issues.

“When I talk about my musical journey, I cannot leave out Wheesung,” Kim said. “Among the people I discussed music with most throughout my career were Wheesung and K.Will. That’s why I wanted K.Will to sing this song.”

K.Will also opened up about his memories of the late singer, describing him as a friend who left behind both cherished and bittersweet memories.

“I used to imitate Wheesung’s singing style a lot,” K.Will recalled. “Because of that, I appeared on variety shows and gained recognition. He influenced not only me, but countless singers.”

He added, “I hope his songs continue to be sung and remembered by many people.”

According to the production team, K.Will’s performance moved not only Kim Do Hoon and fellow guest Bada, but also members of the audience, creating one of the most emotional moments of the special episode.
