On May 19, SOURCE MUSIC released an official notice via the global fan community platform Weverse titled 'LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon Health Condition and Schedule Notice.'
According to the agency, Kim Chaewon recently received hospital treatment after experiencing neck pain. Medical staff have advised her to rest for a certain period and monitor her recovery progress.
The agency stated that, after considering medical advice and the artist’s condition, it has been decided that she will focus on recovery to ensure a safe return.
As a result, Kim Chaewon will not be participating in previously scheduled activities, including university festivals and music show promotions. Her return schedule has not yet been determined, and future schedules will be adjusted flexibly depending on her recovery status.
SOURCE MUSIC added that it will fully support her recovery process and prioritize her health and safety.
Kim Chaewon is a member of LE SSERAFIM, which is scheduled to release its second full-length album, 'PURE FLOW PART 1,' on May 22. The release marks the beginning of the group’s 'FEARLESS 2.0' era.
Ahead of the comeback, the group pre-released the track “CELEBRATION” last month, gaining attention for its catchy melody and performance. Kim Chaewon is currently focusing on recovery.
