82MAJOR’s Cho Seong Il suffers ankle injury, promotions to continue with adjustments

82MAJOR member Cho Seong Il has sustained an ankle injury during rehearsal, the group’s agency Great M Entertainment confirmed on May 8.

According to the agency, Cho Seong Il was injured while practicing earlier in the day and was promptly taken to a hospital for medical evaluation and treatment. While the injury has not significantly impacted his daily activities, medical professionals have advised him to avoid strenuous movement and high-intensity choreography in order to ensure proper recovery.

Great M Entertainment stated that the group’s ongoing promotional activities for 82MAJOR’s fifth mini album, 'FEELM,' will proceed with adjustments depending on the artist’s condition.

“During 82MAJOR’s promotions for their fifth mini album ‘FEELM,’ we will closely monitor the artist’s condition and take appropriate measures based on his recovery progress and ongoing treatment,” the agency said in its official statement.

The agency further emphasized that the health and recovery of its artists remain its top priority and that it will provide full support to ensure Cho Seong II’s swift recovery. “We ask for the kind understanding of fans, 82DE,” the statement added.

Further updates regarding Cho Seong II’s participation in scheduled activities will be determined based on medical guidance and his recovery progress.
