ONE HUNDRED denies MC Mong link to building sale loss
by Minsoo-Kim · allkpopEntertainment company ONE HUNDRED has clarified that singer MC Mong is not connected to a recent building sale involving chairman Cha Ga Won.
In an official statement released on April 23, the agency explained that the building in question—located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam—belongs to Cha Ga Won’s corporate entity, The Mu. It emphasized that MC Mong has “no relation whatsoever” to the transaction.
The clarification follows reports that The Mu purchased the property from Kang Ho Dong for 16.6 billion KRW (approximately $11.2 million USD) in November 2024, only to sell it to Noh Hong Chul for 15.2 billion KRW (approximately $10.2 million USD), resulting in a loss of over 1.4 billion KRW (approximately $0.9 million USD).
