ASTRO's MJ successfully completes first solo fan meeting ahead of upcoming single release

On August 1, MJ held his 2026 fan meeting 'The Hangout' at Seongsu Art Hall in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. The event was held in two sessions at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., marking his first solo fan meeting in the 10 years since his debut. Held ahead of the release of his upcoming single album 'Right..?' on August 19, the event provided an opportunity for MJ to connect closely with fans.
The fan meeting was organized under the concept of casually chatting in front of a neighborhood convenience store. MJ interacted naturally with AROHA, ASTRO's fandom, as if they were close friends, creating memorable moments together.
MJ opened the event with performances of songs from his digital single 'Happy Virus', including the title track 'Get Set Yo' and the b-side track 'Valet Parking'. He later showcased his vocal abilities and honest charm through various segments featuring conversations, games, and live performances.
During the talk segment 'MJ's Street Talk', MJ shared his own experiences while discussing concerns submitted by fans. In 'Neighborhood Game', he completed missions using capsule toy machines and presented special gifts to fans.
In the 'Playlist Talk' segment, MJ introduced songs personally selected by him and shared the stories behind them. He introduced his solo song '12:25 (CLOCK)', along with Choi Yu Ree's 'Forest', Huh Gak's 'To Heaven', and Paul Kim's 'So Long', explaining the meaning behind each song and delivering heartfelt live performances.
In particular, MJ unveiled a new track from his upcoming single album 'Right..?' for the first time during the event. He said, "This album is filled with my own unique charm," expressing confidence in his upcoming release.
He also performed various songs including 'You're So Beautiful', 'My Everything', and 'Story', once again demonstrating his powerful vocals and musical versatility.
After completing his first solo fan meeting, MJ expressed his gratitude, saying, "Thank you for making time to come despite it being the weekend. I will create more opportunities to meet AROHA." He added, "I will continue working hard, so please continue to support me and look forward to my upcoming activities."
Meanwhile, MJ will release his upcoming single album 'Right..?' on August 19 at 6 p.m. through various online music platforms and continue his solo activities.
