Kim Min Jong has strongly denied rumors surrounding him, calling the allegations “completely false” and announcing plans for firm legal action.

On May 19 KST, Kim Min Jong’s legal representative, OKIMS Law Firm, released an official statement addressing rumors that recently spread across online communities, social media platforms, and some media outlets.

The law firm stated, “The groundless rumors regarding his private life are entirely untrue,” adding that the situation involved “malicious defamation reports spreading indiscriminately without even minimal fact-checking or an opportunity for rebuttal.”

The statement further emphasized that the emotional distress and reputational damage suffered by both the artist and his family had reached a serious level.

OKIMS added, “We will respond firmly without any compromise and pursue all possible civil and criminal legal measures under a zero-tolerance policy.”

Kim Min Jong also personally addressed fans through a written message shared the same day.

He stated, “I feel deeply troubled that my name has been mentioned in various stories, causing concern and confusion to many people,” while firmly adding, “The claims currently being discussed are not true. I will respond carefully and resolutely so as not to disappoint those who have trusted and supported me for a long time.”

The controversy emerged after MC Mong claimed during a live social media broadcast that several entertainment industry figures were allegedly connected to illegal gambling gatherings involving large sums of money.

During the broadcast, MC Mong mentioned Kim Min Jong by name while alleging that he had received money and a Rolls-Royce vehicle from a person allegedly connected to the gatherings, sparking widespread attention online.
