CORTIS surpasses 2.3 million first-week sales with ‘GREENGREEN’

CORTIS has demonstrated explosive growth since debut with the massive success of its second mini album 'GREENGREEN'.

According to album sales tracker Hanteo Chart on May 11, the album recorded total first-week sales of 2,313,291 copies between May 4 and May 10, topping the weekly album chart.

The figure marks more than a fivefold increase compared to the group’s first mini album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES', which sold 436,367 copies during its first week following its release in September last year.

Among K-pop releases this year, “GREENGREEN” now holds the second-highest first-week sales record, trailing only BTS’s full-length album 'ARIRANG', which surpassed 4.17 million copies in first-week sales earlier this year.

The album became a million seller on its first day with approximately 1.2 million copies sold and achieved double million-seller status within four days.

Meanwhile, the title track "REDRED" has continued gaining momentum on global streaming charts thanks to its distinctive sound and performance style.

The song entered Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs Global” chart, making CORTIS the first K-pop boy group to debut within the last five years to achieve the feat. As of May 9, the track ranked No. 93 and maintained its position on the chart for 18 consecutive days. It also charted on Spotify’s “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for two straight weeks.

The group’s Spotify monthly listeners reportedly increased by more than 40 percent within a month, reaching approximately 10.32 million listeners as of May 10. The figure places CORTIS alongside major K-pop acts including BTS, Tomorrow X Together, and ENHYPEN in the platform’s top tier.

Domestically, the group also achieved career-high rankings on music charts, reaching No. 6 on Melon’s daily chart and No. 2 on the real-time Top 100 chart.

CORTIS has continued promotions through music shows and additional content releases. Following performances of “REDRED” and TNT, the group unveiled the music video for album track "ACAI" through the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel on May 11.

Inspired by the members’ favorite food, acai bowls, “ACAI” delivers a message centered on staying true to essential values beyond surface-level fun. Members Martin and Seonghyeon participated in producing the song, while all members contributed to the songwriting and composition process.
