NEXZ tops charts with ‘Mmchk’ comeback

NEXZ has claimed the top spot on music charts with its latest release.

The group’s second single album 'Mmchk,' released on April 27, ranked No.1 on the Hanteo daily album chart and the Circle Chart daily retail album chart as of April 28. The title track “Mmchk” also topped Bugs’ real-time chart on the day of release, while all tracks from the album—including “HYPEMAN” and its English version—secured positions within the chart’s Top 3.

NEXZ will officially begin music show promotions starting with M Countdown on April 30. On the same day, JYP Entertainment unveiled behind-the-scenes jacket photos, featuring the members posing with a cake and showcasing a playful yet charismatic concept.

The group is also set to expand its global activities. Beginning in Taipei on May 4, NEXZ will hold a global showcase tour across cities including Hong Kong and Bangkok, followed by its first arena tour in Tokyo and Osaka. In September, they are scheduled to perform at the renowned music festival “Rock in Rio” in Brazil.

Formed through “Nizi Project Season 2,” NEXZ is JYP Entertainment’s first boy group in approximately six years since Stray Kids. The seven-member multinational group is actively involved in songwriting, composition, and choreography, demonstrating strong creative capabilities and building a distinct musical identity.
