Jun Ji Hyun and Koo Kyo Hwan showcase playful chemistry at Cannes

Jun Ji Hyun has once again captured attention with her stunning visuals at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

On May 19, her agency Peach Company shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the festival, writing, “Revealing behind-the-scenes moments of actress Jun Ji Hyun at Cannes for ‘Colony.’”

The photos showed Jun Ji Hyun enjoying her time in Cannes while attending the festival for the film Colony. Wearing a white mini dress paired with sneakers, the actress displayed her effortlessly chic style and long-legged proportions while posing playfully alongside co-star Koo Kyo Hwan.

Additional photos from the red carpet event held on May 16 also drew attention. Jun Ji Hyun appeared in a pure white long dress and once again showcased her bright and playful personality by striking humorous poses with Koo Kyo Hwan.

“Colony” was officially invited to the Midnight Screenings section of the Cannes Film Festival.

The film follows isolated survivors trapped inside a quarantined building amid a mysterious outbreak, as they confront infected beings evolving into unpredictable forms.

“Colony” premiered at the festival’s main venue, the Lumière Grand Theatre, where it received a standing ovation following the screening. Director Yeon Sang Ho and the cast expressed their gratitude to the audience with emotional greetings after the applause.
