by Pooja Darade · BollywoodLife.comAmitabh Bachchan is an inspiration to thousands of people. He started his acting career from the bottom and has risen up to be one of the most loved megastars. For over 5 decades, Big B has been ruling everyone's hearts with his movies, performances, and public persona. However, life hasn't been easy for the actor, as he faced his fair share of struggles to reach the top. Before becoming an actor and enjoying all the luxuries he has now, Mr Bachchan had to deal with several issues.
Amitabh Bachchan on his struggling days
On Kaun Banega Crorepati, a contestant named Paritosh Gupta participated, who lives in a 100-square-foot chawl with his parents and wife. On the show, Paritosh told Amitabh Bachchan that he dreams of owning a house—at least 1 BHK with the prize money he wins. One of the questions was about the Mumbai racecourse, which reminded Amitbabh of his struggling days in Kolkata. Big B revealed another way he was trying to earn money, but his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, stopped him.
In this entertainment news, Amitabh Bachchan revealed that in Kolkata also there is a racecourse. At that time, he earned Rs 300-400, and it was not enough for a living. To make his ends meet, the Sholay star started visiting the racecourse to earn more money. Big B informed the same to his parents, who didn't say anything. However, one day, the megastar received a letter from his dad that read, 'Dhan ko prapt karne ke liye jab tak khoon paseena na nikle usko prapt nahi karna chahiye (never accept money till she has earned it through your hard work).' "It was his indication that I should never visit that place, and I obeyed," said Mr Bachchan.
