The Great Indian Kapil Show: Rajiv Thakur finally reacts to his barely there screen presence in Kapil Sharma's show

The Great Indian Kapil Show is all set to return with season 2. Rajiv Thakur has addressed the concerns that he gets less screen time on Japil Show.

The cast includes Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. The trailer for season 2 was recently released and the audience is excited to see the new jokes and guests that will entertain them thoroughly.

The first season of The Great Indian Kapil Show received a mixed response. But there were several standout acts that the audience was a big fan of. However, one thing several viewers noticed is that Rajiv Thakur has less screentime in Kapil Sharma's show. In an interview, the actor-comedian was asked about the same and he gave an interesting answer.

In an interview with the Times of India, Rajiv Thakur was asked about less screen presence. The comedian said that he would like to inform the streaming channel (Netflix) that this is a complaint, not a compliment, that he's getting less screen time. Thakur was joking and further said that when they started working on season 2, they made sure such complaints were not there anymore about his screen time.

Further in this entertainment news, Rajiv stated that when someone is working in a new place or with new people, it is an experimental mode initially. He said, "I know main kitne dhurundharon ke beech mein kaam kar raha hoon. Yeh sabhi dhurandhar hai aur inke beech mein jagah bananne ke liye aap ko kuch effort karna padega. Wo I am trying, wo jagah ban rahi hai, slowly steadily, it is happening."

Rajiv Thakur recently received praise for his performance as a terrorist in Netflix series IC814: The Kandahar Hijack. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the series also stars Vijay Varma, Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza, Naseeruddin Shah, and several others.

The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 Episode 1 will stream on Netflix on September 21, 2024. It will drop on the OTT platform at 8 pm. The first guests on the show are Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, and Vedang Raina to promote their movie Jigra, which releases in theatres on October 11, 2024.
