Rick Devens has become the first ‘Survivor’ alum to win ‘Big Brother‘.

Last night he won the final Head of Household competition of the season and betrayed Drew Campbell, bringing Taylor Brown with him to the final vote. The jury selected Devens as the winner, awarding him the $750,000 prize. He also won a $50,000 prize for being America’s Favorite Houseguest (decided by a fan vote) and a $10,000 prize in the Pharaoh’s Curse twist bringing his total winnings to $810,000.

Previously, Devens competed on ‘Survivor’ twice. He finished fourth on Survivor: Edge of Extinction (Season 38) and seventh on Survivor 50.

Going into the finale, Survivor host Jeff Probst posted a video to the Big Brother social media account rooting for Devens. Probst said:

“I just wanted to tell you how proud I am. I really am! You and Dee both. To come into this game, a completely different game, and with your reputations, everyone knows how clever you are. You’re the guy willing to flip the coin, and to get the end with a legit shot to win says it all. How good you are with people. How good you are at reading situations and knowing when to move left and when to move right. When to be quiet, when to speak up. I’m obviously rooting for you. I love how you’re representing Survivor. I will be watching and regardless of how it works out, well done brother.”

Jeff Probst smiles directly at the camera in a selfie-style video posted to Big Brother’s TikTok, with on-screen text reading “Jeff Probst has a message for Devens” and the subtitle “I just wanted to tell you.” Credit: Big Brother on TikTok.

So sweet!

Maybe we’ll see Rick Devens on The Traitors next?
