A winning lottery ticket was supposed to help cover the cost of a funeral. Instead, it never reached the family it was meant for — because the mail carrier tasked with delivering it kept it for herself.
The money was meant to help a grieving family bury someone. It never made it past the mail carrier who was supposed to hand it over.
