Trump Media Lost $238 Million Last Quarter, Up From $20 Million a Year Ago, Mostly on Its Crypto Bets

Trump Media, the company behind Truth Social, just reported a steep widening of its quarterly losses, and its crypto investments appear to be the main culprit.

Trump Media lost $238 million last quarter, up from $20 million a year ago, mostly on its crypto bets.

That’s a 12x jump in losses in a single year, and most of it came from crypto that cratered when investors ran from risk.

Over the same three months, the company took in just $1.7 million in revenue.
