A first-time electric-vehicle driver says a Tesla test drive ended with a Model Y plowing into a hair salon — and now she’s taking the company to court for millions.

The federal employee is suing Tesla for $10.3 million after the test-drive Model Y, set to Insane Mode, crashed into the salon.

She told the dealership she’d never driven an electric car and asked for instructions. According to her account, they handed her a Model Y already set to its fastest launch setting and wouldn’t ride along.
