Bloomberg reporter Myles Miller posted on July 3 that Madison Square Garden had reportedly “parted ways with” staff who violated NDAs tied to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s July 3 wedding. Page Six later reported that 2 to 4 workers were allegedly caught taking photos and escorted out.

MSG hasn’t confirmed any of it, and “parted ways” is doing a lot of work: some of the workers were reportedly union, which means arbitration, not an on-the-spot firing. What is confirmed is how locked down the event was: every person entering the arena, law enforcement included, had to seal their phone in a bag.

Bloomberg reporter Myles Miller posted on July 3 that The Garden “has parted ways with staff members for violations of NDAs associated with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding.” TMZ picked it up a day later, framing MSG as having “reportedly fired any employees who violated the agreements.” Page Six, Complex, Yahoo, RadarOnline, Daily Mail and The Mirror all followed, each pointing back to Miller’s post.

Page Six added the only real texture on the ground: 2 to 4 workers were allegedly caught taking photos and escorted out of MSG. Some were union, which means immediate firing isn’t straightforward. They’d go through arbitration, and could face sanctions or bans from MSG venues while potentially still working elsewhere in the wider MSG conglomerate.

Beyond that, there are no specifics. No names, no confirmation of what any staffer allegedly did, and no clarity on whether “parted ways” means formal firings, contracts not renewed, or event contractors who simply weren’t brought back. MSG hasn’t commented on the record, and neither has Swift’s or Kelce’s team.

What is confirmed is the lockdown itself. Guests were sent electronic non-disclosure agreements ahead of the details, and earlier reporting noted those NDAs carried no monetary penalty, functioning more as a social deterrent than a legal threat. The couple’s closest family and inner circle were reportedly exempt from signing.

Then came the phone rule. Everyone who entered Madison Square Garden, including on-site law enforcement, had to store their device in a locked bag, and the arena was placed off-limits to MSG’s own corporate staff in the run-up to the event.
