To kick off the brand’s 50th anniversary celebrations, BEAMS JAPAN has partnered with Tailer Toyo to release an exclusive Godzilla Embroidered Sukajan Jacket. With over half a century of expertise in heritage tailoring, Tailer Toyo has crafted a piece for this collaboration that seamlessly blends cinematic history with high-end craftsmanship.
The jacket’s black velvet body serves as a canvas for lavish embroidery. The front depicts a fierce face-off between Godzilla and his robotic counterpart, Mechagodzilla, while the sleeves feature the three-headed King Ghidorah. The back is even more elaborate, showcasing Rodan and Mothra soaring over Mount Fuji as Hedorah, the pollution monster, appears below. For added versatility, the jacket features a modern, slightly looser silhouette and a fully reversible design that flips to a sleek, plain black lining.
The Tailor Toyo x BEAMS JAPAN Godzilla Sukajan Jacket is priced at ¥90,200 JPY (approx. $580 USD). It will officially launch on January 2, 2026, at BEAMS’s website, serving as a landmark release for the brand’s milestone year.
