At Jump Festa 2026, Netflix finally confirmed the official release date for STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, the highly anticipated anime adaptation of the seventh part of Hirohiko Araki‘s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure series.

Produced by David Production, the adaptation reunites the veteran creative team from previous JoJo arcs, including directors Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi, alongside composer Yugo Kanno. A brand-new main trailer released during the event showcases the vibrant visual style and introduces the first look at secondary racers Sandman and Pocoloco, joining the previously announced leads.

Set in an alternate timeline during late 19th-century America, the narrative follows an epic 6,000-kilometer transcontinental horse race from San Diego to New York City. At the story’s core are Johnny Joestar, a former horse‑racing prodigy who lost the use of his legs, and Gyro Zeppeli, a mysterious outlaw armed with unique techniques. Bound together by hidden motives and the pursuit of a massive $50 million USD grand prize, the pair embark on a perilous journey across the American wilderness.

STEEL BALL RUN will premiere on Netflix on March 19, 2026, with a special 47-minute extended episode titled “1st STAGE”.
