Stone Island has unveiled the Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection for its new project, DENIM RESEARCH. After relaunching for the Fall/Winter 2025 season, the line takes another evolutionary leap this season.

DENIM RESEARCH is an experimental project that applies and reimagines the innovative fabric development and advanced technical prowess synonymous with the brand within the traditional denim category.

This season introduces four seasonal washes: medium blue, light blue, gray, and black. The collection brings a uniquely Stone Island approach to classic denim by incorporating new treatments, including the laser-based dusty finish Laser Pigment, alongside the hand-finished Corroded Reflective and Hand Sprayed Reflective techniques.

The core lineup expands on traditional trucker jackets with newly added fatigue shirts, alongside brushed indigo chambray shirts.

In the brand’s “Community as a Form of Research” campaign, rapper Skepta wears the 4100002 HAND SPRAYED REFLECTIVE LIGHT BULL DENIM – TC JACKET. Crafted from 13-ounce denim, the piece is garment-dyed, laminated with a highly reflective film, and then hand-sprayed to create entirely unique shading on every jacket. A detachable RDS-certified down vest attaches to the outerwear via the brand’s signature Dutch rope system.

Actor Stephen Graham wears the 4100006 LASER PIGMENT INDIGO DENIM PANTS. Woven from indigo-dyed yarn, the 13.5-ounce twill denim undergoes a laser treatment to achieve a perfectly dusty, weathered appearance.

The Stone Island DENIM RESEARCH Fall/Winter 2026-27 collection is currently available at Stone Island flagship stores nationwide and the official online store. The piece worn by Skepta retails for 379,500 yen (including tax), while Stephen Graham’s piece is priced at 104,500 yen (including tax).
