Bafana have enjoyed a good start under new coach Pitso Mosimane with back-to-back wins in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The latest qualifier proved to be the most fruitful as South Africa recorded a 5-0 win over Eritrea on Wednesday evening.

Mosimane is expected to make a few a changes for the clash in Cairo, as Teboho Mokoena and Bathusi Aubaas will miss the clash due to injury.

Egypt, meanwhile, got their first win in the AFCON qualifiers on Tuesday with a 5-0 thrashing of South Sudan.

The seven-time African champions secured the win without Mohamed Salah, who has already left the camp.

These two sides last met in last year's AFCON group stages, where Egypt beat Bafana 1-0 thanks to Salah's penalty.

Here's how they line up:

South Africa: Chaine, Okon, Seema, Matuludi, Basadien, Sithole, Poggenpoel, Matthews, Dithejane, Singh, Mailula
