Isa Briones Warns ‘The Pitt’ Fans to Stop Heckling Her During Broadway Shows: ‘Y’all Are Pissin’ Me Off’

· Rolling Stone

Actress Isa Briones is fed up with fans of The Pitt heckling her during her Broadway performances, saying it’s “fucking disrespectful to the performers onstage and your fellow audience members.”

Briones, who plays Dr. Trinity Santos on the HBO drama series, is on a break from her shifts at the hospital as she stars in the jukebox musical Just in Time as Connie Francis. But it seems some supporters of the show didn’t get the memo and have been interrupting the Broadway show by yelling “When are you going to finish your charts?”

“Once again, Broadway is not a circus. Do not yell whatever you want at the performers,” Briones wrote in an Instagram Story over the weekend. “Y’all are pissin’ me off. Love and light and please remember you are occupying shared spaces and watching art.”

Briones, 27, joined the cast of Just in Time on April 1, replacing Modern Family star Sarah Hyland. The musical is based on the life and career of Bobby Darin, an American singer-songwriter and actor who rose to fame in the 1950s and 1960s with his covers of “Beyond the Sea” and “Mack the Knife.”

Before her breakout role on The Pitt alongside stars Noah Wyle and Katherine LaNasa, London-born Briones had parts on the TV series Goosebumps and Star Trek: Picard.
