Discord launches Nitro Rewards with Xbox Game Pass and gaming perks

Discord has officially introduced a new subscriber programme called Nitro Rewards, adding a range of third-party gaming benefits and discounts to its premium Nitro membership service. The new initiative expands the value of Discord Nitro by bundling perks from major gaming brands, including Xbox, Logitech G, SteelSeries, and KontrolFreek.

Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition Included

One of the headline additions is the inclusion of a new Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition for eligible Nitro subscribers at no additional cost. The starter tier provides access to more than 50 PC and Xbox games, including titles such as Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, and DayZ. Subscribers also receive 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming monthly, alongside opportunities to earn Xbox Store rewards credits.

Hardware Discounts and Discord Orbs Added

Beyond Game Pass access, Nitro Rewards also introduces discounts on gaming accessories and peripherals. Nitro members can receive up to 30% discounts on selected Logitech G products, 15% off SteelSeries gear, and 20% savings on KontrolFreek accessories.

Subscribers will additionally receive 250 Discord Orbs every month automatically. Orbs are Discord’s in-app reward currency used for redeeming profile customisation items, avatar decorations, and various digital perks within the platform ecosystem.
