Huawei WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition Malaysia release - Priced at RM17,999
Besides the HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 Series, Huawei also unveiled the HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition in Malaysia. As you can see from the title and cover image, it is a new luxury-focused smartwatch that blends premium craftsmanship with advanced wearable technology. This Spring Edition is one of Huawei’s most luxurious wearables to date, at a very hefty price tag.
The Spring Edition Design
According to Huawei, the WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition was created in collaboration with internationally renowned jewellery designer Francesca Amfitheatrof. The design philosophy revolves around springtime rebirth, flowing curves, and the Fibonacci golden ratio found in nature.
The smartwatch features a diamond-cut sapphire crystal design with 60 reflective facets surrounding the display. Huawei also incorporated a diamond-set crown with 18 precision-cut facets and a natural diamond embedded at its centre.
One of the standout visual elements is the vine motif strap, which includes dozens of hand-set natural diamonds integrated directly into the bracelet design. Huawei describes the watch as a fusion of elegance, technology, and organic aesthetics.
The WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Advanced Health Features
Despite the fashion-first presentation, the smartwatch includes Huawei’s X-TAP sensor system, which combines ECG, PPG, and pressure sensors to generate a health report in around 60 seconds. Huawei says the feature can analyse more than 10 key health metrics covering cardiovascular and respiratory indicators.
Additional wellness features include emotional well-being tracking, menstrual cycle analysis, calorie management tools, sleep monitoring, stress tracking, and breathing exercises integrated directly into the watch interface. There are also mood-reactive watch faces that visually adapt based on emotional well-being tracking data.
Other Important Features
The WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition also supports eSIM independent calling functionality, allowing users to make and receive calls directly from the smartwatch without relying on a connected phone. For Malaysian users, Huawei has also integrated Touch ’n Go eWallet QR payment support directly into the wearable. This allows users to make QR payments by simply raising their wrist at supported payment terminals.
Other smart features include Emergency SOS support, Bluetooth connectivity, compatibility with both Android and iOS devices, and access to over 100 workout modes, including Pilates, golf, and dance-focused activities. Additionally, the WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition is rated for up to three days of usage in Standard Mode and up to seven days under Battery Saver Mode, depending on usage patterns.
Price and Availability
The HUAWEI WATCH ULTIMATE DESIGN Spring Edition is priced at RM17,999 and comes bundled with freebies worth up to RM5,143. This includes a free 1-year HUAWEI Health+ and HUAWEI Premium Services worth RM4,997. It is scheduled to ship on 26 May 2026 and will be available on the official HUAWEI website, as well as its online stores (Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop).
