The wider and shorter Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is finally here in Malaysia from RM7299. While it brings a tougher Titanium Flex display and other tech to the table, one of the main advantages it offers is wider viewing space when unfolded, particularly for movies and videos. Comparing now and before

Since it is a new shape and design, it’s hard to compare the wider Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 against the previous Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7. However, in terms of measurements alone the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 is 161.4 x 123.9 x 4.9 mm when unfolded and 82.2 x 123.9 x 9.8 mm when folded. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is 158.4 x 143.2 x 4.2 mm when unfolded and 158.4 x 72.8 x 8.9 mm when folded. The wider Galaxy Z Fold8 also weighs less at 199g while the Galaxy Z Fold7 is 215g.
