Cloudy, Wet Conditions Expected Across Bulgaria on Friday

On Friday, April 3, Bulgaria will see predominantly cloudy conditions, with rainfall expected in many regions throughout the day. Winds will remain light, coming from the east-northeast. Morning temperatures will generally range between 4°C and 9°C, with Sofia starting near 5°C, while daytime highs will rise modestly to around 11°C to 16°C, with the capital expected to reach about 11°C.

In mountainous areas, cloud cover will persist alongside precipitation, with rain expected at lower elevations and snow developing above approximately 1800 meters. Winds will initially be moderate from the south-southeast before shifting to the northeast by the end of the day. Temperatures will reach around 6°C at 1200 meters and approximately 2°C at 2000 meters altitude.

Along the Black Sea coast, skies will remain mostly overcast with widespread rain, more pronounced along the southern stretches. Winds will be weak to moderate from the east-northeast. Daytime temperatures will range between 12°C and 14°C, while sea water temperatures will stay between 8°C and 10°C. Sea conditions are expected to reach 2–3 on the Beaufort scale.

Across the broader Balkan Peninsula, similar weather patterns will dominate, with extensive cloud cover and rainfall affecting many areas throughout the region.
