Sunny, Hot Weather Continues across Bulgaria on Friday

Clear skies and warm summer weather will continue across Bulgaria on Friday, according to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), with sunshine expected throughout the country and temperatures climbing into the mid-30s Celsius in many areas.

The night will remain clear, followed by another sunny day. A light to moderate easterly wind will blow across most of the country. Conditions will become hot around and after noon, with maximum temperatures ranging from 31C to 36C. It will be slightly cooler along the Black Sea coast, while Sofia is expected to reach around 32C. Atmospheric pressure will continue to decrease gradually, approaching the average level for this time of year.

Sunny weather will also prevail along the Black Sea coast. A light to moderate easterly wind will keep temperatures more comfortable, with daytime highs between 26C and 29C. Sea water temperatures will range from 24C to 25C, while wave heights are expected to remain at 2 to 3 on the Beaufort scale.

Mountain areas will also enjoy clear and sunny conditions. A light to moderate northeasterly wind is forecast, with temperatures reaching around 26C at an altitude of 1,200 meters and about 18C at 2,000 meters.

The stable summer pattern is expected to continue through the weekend. Forecasters predict sunny weather across the country, accompanied by a light wind, becoming moderate in eastern Bulgaria, from the east-northeast. Maximum temperatures are expected to rise further, reaching between 33C and 38C inland, while the Black Sea coast will see highs of between 29C and 32C.
