Telangana government clears Rs 25 lakh for classrooms at Hyderabad primary school

The Telangana government has sanctioned Rs 25 lakh for the construction of classrooms at Gopalapuram Primary School in Hyderabad, following concerns over the condition of the school.

The government action came after Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy took note of the issue and directed Hyderabad district Collector Diwakar to visit the school and immediately sanction funds required to improve its facilities.

The Chief Minister’s intervention has now resulted in funds being released for classroom construction, giving the school a push towards improving its infrastructure.

CHIEF MINISTER ORDERS IMMEDIATE ACTION

Following the issue being brought to his notice, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed Collector Diwakar to personally visit Gopalapuram Primary School and assess the situation.

He also instructed the district administration to identify the facilities required at the school and sanction the necessary funds without delay.

The directions were followed up at the government level. The Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary, N Sridhar, also spoke to school teacher N Indira to understand the classroom conditions and the problems being faced by the school.

COLLECTOR VISITS GOPALAPURAM SCHOOL

Collector Diwakar visited the school on Thursday following the Chief Minister’s directions.

During the visit, the Collector assessed the condition of the classrooms and interacted with those involved in the school’s functioning. He also acknowledged the efforts of teacher N Indira in working towards the development of the school.

Diwakar informed the school that Rs 25 lakh had been sanctioned for the construction of classrooms. The funds were released immediately, paving the way for the proposed infrastructure work.

The government’s intervention is expected to address the immediate classroom requirement and improve the learning environment for students at the primary school.

TEACHER’S INITIATIVE GETS OFFICIAL RECOGNITION

Teacher N Indira’s efforts to improve the school also came in for appreciation during the Collector’s visit.

The interaction between the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary and the teacher had focused on understanding the ground-level situation, while the Collector’s visit provided an opportunity to assess the requirements directly.

The sanction of Rs 25 lakh marks the immediate administrative response to the school’s infrastructure needs.

With the funds now approved and released, the focus will shift to construction and improving the facilities available to students at Gopalapuram Primary School.
