JDS moves its MLAs to resort amid cross-voting fears before tomorrow's MLC polls
Janata Dal (Secular) will shift their MLAs to a resort on the outskirts of Bengaluru near Devanahalli later in the evening, with senior party leaders likely to hold briefings and sessions for during the legislators' stay.

After the Congress, now HD Kumaraswamy-headed JD(S), has also begun resort politics ahead of tomorrow's Legislative Council elections. According to party sources, amid fears of cross-voting, the party has decided to move its MLAs to a resort on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
Sources added that the MLAs will be shifted to the Prestige Golf Club Resort near Devanahalli later in the evening. Besides, senior party leaders are expected to conduct briefings and sessions for the legislators during their stay.
Congress also moved its MLAs to the Terrea Resort on Mysuru Road yesterday. It is located within the Wonderla amusement park premises, nearly 28 km from Bengaluru.
India Today earlier reported that the decision to shift the legislators had come after yesterday's Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting. The MLAs will remain there until being transported directly to the Assembly to cast their votes.
