Stranger Things actor Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, model-actor Jake Bongiovi, have expanded their family after welcoming their second child through adoption.

According to a report by PEOPLE magazine, the couple recently welcomed the new addition to their family, though representatives for Brown and Bongiovi have not yet issued an official statement. The update follows a subtle hint shared on social media on September 7, when the 22-year-old actor posted a video from a holiday in Italy’s Dolomites mountain range. In the clip, Brown was seen holding their elder daughter while Bongiovi walked beside her with a baby carrier strapped to his chest.

The arrival marks the second time the couple has chosen to build their family through adoption. In August 2025, Brown announced the arrival of their first daughter on Instagram, and wrote, "This summer we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy." She added at the time: "And then there were 3."

Speaking on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast in June, the actor opened up about her lifelong desire to adopt. "It was always part of my childhood dreams," Brown shared. "Every time I was at home and I was, you know, 5, 6 years old, my parents were like, 'You had your baby dolls.' They were all adopted. I never had any of them myself. And I never pretended I was pregnant."

Brown clarified that she still plans to carry children of her own in the future, adding: "It’s not because I don’t want that. Hopefully one day that’s in my future." Reaffirming her perspective on building a family, she noted: "Adoption is love, adoption is forever."

The couple’s romance began after connecting online in 2021, quickly developing a close friendship that evolved into a relationship. Bongiovi proposed in April 2023, with Brown announcing their engagement on social media alongside lyrics from Taylor Swift's Lover. The pair officially exchanged vows in a quiet, private ceremony in May 2024, before hosting a grander celebration with family and friends in Tuscany, Italy, later that year.

Meanwhile, Brown's last theatrical release was the sci-fi adventure film The Electric State. The actor also reprised her titular role in Netflix's Enola Holmes 3.
