About Bhooth Bangla
Directed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla marks a reunion of the director with Akshay Kumar after their earlier collaborations including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
The film features an ensemble cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Rajpal Yadav, and Jisshu Sengupta. Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Cape of Good Films, it is produced by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor.
India Today’s review noted that while the film has moments of humour, they are brief. It observed that the comedic performances by Asrani, Rajpal Yadav, and Paresh Rawal rely heavily on physical comedy, which may feel outdated to some viewers. The review also pointed out that the horror elements are driven by a strong background score, though they do not always succeed in building consistent tension.
