CISCE declares Class 10 ICSE Improvement exam results

For every subject in which a candidate appeared, the higher of the marks obtained in the main examination and the improvement examination will be treated as the final score.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has announced the results of the ICSE (Class 10) Improvement Examination 2026. Students who appeared for the examination can now check their scores on the official CISCE website at cisce.org and the results portal at results.cisce.org. Digital mark sheets will also be made available on DigiLocker from July 24, 2026.

The improvement examination was conducted from June 15 to June 30, giving Class 10 students an opportunity to improve their performance in selected subjects after the main board examinations.

OVER 5,300 CANDIDATES TOOK IMPROVEMENT EXAM

According to CISCE, a total of 5,321 candidates appeared for the improvement examination. The council recorded 13,032 paper-wise entries across 37 subjects/papers. The examination was conducted at 341 examination centres nationwide, while answer scripts were evaluated at 43 evaluation centres by 185 examiners.

Step 1: Go to any of the official websites

Step 2: Enter the course code, candidate UID, index number and the captcha

Step 3: Click on the “show result” button to get the results

Step 4: Click on the Print Result button to get the print of the ICSE 2026 Class 10 improvement exam result

For every subject in which a candidate appeared, the higher of the marks obtained in the main examination and the improvement examination will be treated as the final score and reflected in the student's record.
