Sanghavi said the district administration and police reached the site within minutes of the incident and began rescue operations. High-tech machinery was deployed to remove the debris and rescue the trapped workers one by one.
A total of 15 people were rescued, of whom three have already been discharged from hospital. Twelve people sustained injuries and some of them are being treated in the ICU. However, doctors have said that none of the injured is in critical condition, Sanghavi said.
