Bharat Dev Varma, actor Moon Moon Sen's husband and Raima Sen's father, dies

Actor Moon Moon Sen's husband Bharat Deb Varma died today, November 19, in his own home in Kolkata around 9 am. We have learnt that an ambulance was sent from a private hospital in Kolkata's Dhakuria to take him to the hospital due to his deteriorating physical condition. However, before the ambulance could reach his residence, he breathed his last.

Bharat Dev Varma belonged to the royal family of Tripura. Bharat’s mother, Ila Devi, was a princess of Cooch Behar, and the elder sister of Maharani of Jaipur, Gayatri Devi. Bharat's grandmother Indira was the only daughter of Searji Rao Gaikwad III, Maharaja of Vadodara. He was married to actor Moon Moon Sen and is the father of actors Raima Sen and Riya Sen.
