Man found hanging in ladies washroom at Delhi Metro station
A man was found hanging inside a locked ladies washroom at Inderlok Metro Station in northwest Delhi. Police have begun BNSS proceedings as they work to confirm his identity and establish the circumstances of the death.

A man was found dead inside a ladies washroom at Inderlok Metro Station in northwest Delhi, police said on Saturday.
According to officials, a PCR call was received around 5:33 pm on April 25 reporting that a ladies toilet at the metro station was locked from inside and emitting a strong foul smell. A police team rushed to the spot and reached the Sulabh toilet complex within the station premises.
The washroom door was broken open, following which an unidentified male body, estimated to be around 40 years old, was found hanging inside. Prima facie, the deceased is believed to be the caretaker of the washroom facility.
A witness told police that the man was last seen nearly two days before the body was discovered.
The crime team inspected the scene and the body was later shifted to the mortuary at Babu Jagjivan Ram Memorial Hospital for preservation. Authorities have initiated efforts to confirm the identity of the deceased with the help of metro officials.
Police said proceedings under Section 194 of the BNSS have been initiated, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
