OnePlus Pad 4: Specifications and features
The OnePlus Pad 4 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. This is a tried and tested chip, already powering the top-end Android flagships. So, it is expected to offer smooth performance. But, you can wait for our detailed review to know about its real-world performance.
On the front, the tablet features a 13.2-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 3392 x 2400 pixels. It supports a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, which can adjust based on usage, along with a touch sampling rate that goes up to 540Hz. The screen also supports 12-bit colour depth and DCI-P3 colour gamut, which should help with better colour accuracy for both work and entertainment.
The tablet is backed by a 13,380mAh battery, which is one of the largest seen on a OnePlus tablet so far. It supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, and the company claims that users can get up to 20 hours of video playback on a single charge.
For audio, the OnePlus Pad 4 includes an eight-speaker setup, designed to deliver a more immersive sound experience. It also supports advanced Bluetooth codecs such as aptX Adaptive and LDAC for improved wireless audio quality. On the software side, the device runs OxygenOS 16 and includes a range of features focused on productivity. These include multi-window support, cross-device syncing, and a set of AI-based tools like AI Writer and AI Summary.
In terms of design, the tablet measures just 5.94mm in thickness and weighs 672g, which keeps it relatively slim and portable despite the large display. It also supports additional accessories such as a smart keyboard and the Stylo Pro stylus, which offers 16,000 levels of pressure sensitivity and attaches magnetically to the device.
With these upgrades, the OnePlus Pad 4 positions itself as a premium Android tablet that aims to deliver both performance and versatility in a single device. If you are curious about Pad 4's real world performance metrics, you can stay tuned to India Today Tech as we will be publishing it soon.
