The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 on November 22, 2024. Candidates interested in applying for the exam can visit the official NTA JEE website for the direct registration link.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the online registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 on November 22 on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. This year, JEE Main will be conducted in two sessions.

The first session is scheduled to take place from January 22 to 31, 2025, while the second session will be held in April 2025. Admit cards will be released three days before the exam begins.

For appearing in the JEE (Main) - 2025, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 / equivalent examination in 2023, 2024 or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) - 2025 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.

STEPS TO APPLY FOR JEE MAIN 2025 SESSION 1

1. Visit the official JEE Main 2025 website.
2. On the homepage, click on the designated link for registration.
3. Select the "New Login" option.
4. Complete the application form with the required details.
5. Submit the form after verifying the information.
6. Pay the registration fee online.
7. Download the completed application and take a printout for future reference.

The JEE (Main) - 2025 is being conducted in the following modes:

a) Paper 1 (BE/BTech.) in "Computer Based Test (CBT)" mode.
b) Paper 2A (BArch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in "Computer Based Test (CBT)" mode and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
c) Paper 2B (BPlanning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode

Meanwhile, the registrations for JEE Main 2025 have seen an unusual decline this year. In the first two weeks of the application window, which opened on October 28, only 5.1 lakh candidates have registered for the exam.

This is a stark contrast to the same period last year when 12.2 lakh students had registered. The significant drop in registration numbers has raised concerns and will be closely monitored as the deadline approaches.
