Skoda Auto India has refreshed its flagship luxury SUV lineup with an update to the Kodiaq for 2026. The updated range now features three clearly differentiated variants – Lounge, Sportline and Selection L&K aimed at catering to buyers seeking value-oriented luxury, sporty appeal or premium sophistication respectively. Prices for the updated Kodiaq start at Rs 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Kodiaq range is priced as follows (ex-showroom):

  • Kodiaq Lounge – Rs 36.99 lakh
  • Kodiaq Sportline – Rs 44.99 lakh
  • Kodiaq Selection L&K – Rs 46.99 lakh

The biggest highlight of the 2026 update is the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on the Kodiaq range. The Sportline and Selection L&K variants now come equipped with a suite of safety technologies including Adaptive Cruise Control, Front Assist with autonomous braking, Lane Assist, Side Assist, Rear Traffic Alert and Exit Warning System. LED Matrix headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) have also been added.

Skoda has also strengthened the positioning of the Sportline trim by bringing in features that were earlier exclusive to the top-spec Selection L&K. These include a 360-degree camera, Intelligent Park Assist and the illuminated front grille with a horizontal light strip. The Sportline continues to carry a sportier identity with gloss black exterior elements, black Suedia upholstery, aluminium pedals and a three-spoke sport steering wheel.

At the entry point of the lineup, the new Kodiaq Lounge has been designed to make the flagship SUV more accessible. Offered as a five-seater, the Lounge prioritises practicality with a massive 786-litre boot while retaining the core mechanical package of the Kodiaq, including the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine, seven-speed DSG automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive system. The cabin gets grey Suedia upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control and enhanced acoustic insulation.

The top-end Kodiaq Selection L&K continues as the most luxurious offering in Skoda Auto India’s portfolio. Along with the newly added ADAS features, the SUV gets Cognac leather upholstery, front Ergo seats with massage, ventilation and heating functions, and Laurin & Klement badging inside the cabin.

Mechanically, the Kodiaq remains unchanged. Power comes from the familiar 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204bhp and 320Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed DSG transmission sending power to all four wheels. The SUV is based on the MQB37 platform and is assembled at the brand’s facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
