The wait for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 result may soon be over. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) results are likely to be declared this week or during the second week of June.
However, no official date has been announced yet. The results can be expected by mid June.
The Civil Services Preliminary Examination was conducted on May 24, 2026, across centres nationwide. Around 5.49 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, which serves as the first stage of recruitment to prestigious services including the IAS, IPS, IFS and other Central services.
This year's examination was notable for a major reform introduced by UPSC. For the first time, the Commission released provisional answer keys shortly after the examination and invited objections from candidates through an online portal.
