The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has once again extended the deadline for fresh admissions for the July 2024 session, now pushing it to October 31.

This extension applies to all programmes except semester-based and certificate courses. Initially set for September 30, the registration deadline was first extended to October 15 and has now been further moved to the end of the month.

Prospective students can explore the available Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programs by visiting the official website and submitting their applications accordingly.

HOW TO FILL THE IGNOU FRESH ADMISSION FORM 2024

Step 1: Visit the official IGNOU website at ignou.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the 'Register Online' tab, then select 'Fresh Admissions.'
Step 3: Click on the 'New Registrations' tab.
Step 4: Enter all the required registration details.
Step 5: Create a 'Username' and 'Password.'
Step 6: Complete the remaining required fields and submit the form.
Step 7: Check your email and phone for the login details, then log in using the provided credentials.
Step 8: Select the programme you wish to study.
Step 9: Review your information and submit the registration form.

IGNOU has recently announced the call for applications for its Best Innovation Awards 2024, inviting submissions from students who have made notable innovations across various fields. Organized by the National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE), the competition is open to all registered IGNOU students, who can submit their entries in a specified format.

The top three innovators will receive certificates, trophies, and cash prizes of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,000, and Rs 5,000, respectively.
