The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the deadline for applicants to make corrections to their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 application forms. The exam will take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, with admit cards expected to be issued in January.

Candidates needing to make any corrections can now do so by visiting the official GATE 2025 portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
The application fee for GATE 2025 is set at Rs 900 for female candidates and those in the SC, ST, and PwD categories.
For all other applicants, including foreign nationals, the fee is Rs 1,800.
The GATE 2025 admit cards are expected to be released in January, with the exam scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Recently, IIT Roorkee also made mock tests available for candidates. To access these mock tests, candidates can select the test paper name or code, which will open the mock test link in a new tab or window.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD GATE 2025 APPLICATION CORRECTION FACILITY
To download the GATE 2025 application correction facility, follow these steps:
1. Go to the official GATE 2025 portal at gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
2. Enter your login credentials, which include your enrollment ID and password.
3. Once logged in, look for the "Application Correction" or "Edit Application" option in the dashboard.
4. Review your application details and make any necessary corrections to personal information, exam centre, paper choice, etc.
5. After making the required corrections, save and submit the updated application form.
6. You can download and take a printout of your corrected application for reference.
7. Ensure you complete the corrections before the deadline, as no changes will be allowed after the correction window closes.
GATE is a national-level exam that evaluates candidates' in-depth understanding of undergraduate subjects across fields such as engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities.
GATE 2025, organised by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, will be held in computer-based testing (CBT) mode in February 2025.
