The exchange, captured in a video circulating on social media, soon escalated into angry shouting and chants of “Shame on SpiceJet."

The clip, shared on X, showed several passengers arguing with airline staff as Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel stood nearby. The exchange grows increasingly heated, with travellers raising their voices and pointing fingers at staff members.

At one point, a staff member was heard telling the passengers, “SpiceJet sasta hai, isiliye aaye ho aap” (SpiceJet is cheap, that's why you came). The remark aggravated the situation, prompting an angry response from those gathered at the counter.

A woman passenger was heard making a pointed comment about the staff's salaries, saying, “In logon ki salary 20-25 hazaar hogi” (Their salaries must be Rs 20,000-25,000).

As the argument continued, some passengers began chanting “Shame on SpiceJet”, while security personnel attempted to manage the gathering and prevent the situation from escalating further.
