Last week, the brand teased the smartphones, revealing the design and key features of the smartphones. Now, the company has confirmed the official launch date of the devices, which is scheduled to break cover on 10th June.

Talking about the Turbo series, the company rolled out the OnePlus Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V in China this January, which were later introduced in India as the OnePlus Nord 6 and the OnePlus Nord CE6. That said, whether the upcoming Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro would be able to made there way to India or not is an unknown factor at the moment.

What we know so far about OnePlus Turbo 6X and Turbo 6X Pro

It is confirmed that the OnePlus Turbo 6X will feature an LCD display. It will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super chipset, a notable departure from the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 found in the standard Turbo 6. And it will carry a 7,000mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Turbo 6X Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Super SoC. To keep the lights on, it will carry a larger 8,000mAh battery and sport a 1.5K AMOLED display.

Both of the devices will come in multiple colour options, for say, the Turbo 6X will be offered in three colourways, while the Turbo 6X Pro will ship in two finishes, which may include an orange variant.

Earlier leaks about the smartphone suggested that the Turbo 6X may feature a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD panel running at 144Hz, which should make for smooth everyday scrolling.

Photography duties of Turbo 6X are said to be handled by a dual rear camera system centred around a 50MP primary sensor (OV50D), accompanied by a modest 2MP secondary shooter. Selfie fans get an 8MP front camera for video calls and portraits.

To keep the lights on, the OnePlus Turbo 6X will carry a 7,000mAh battery with expected 45W wired charging, though it falls short of the standard Turbo 6's more generous 9,000mAh pack.

Other reported details include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a plastic frame, IP64 dust and splash resistance, dimensions of 165.85 x 75.85 x 8.55mm, and a weight of approximately 208g.

A higher-specced Turbo 6X Pro is also in the pipeline, reportedly offering an LTPS OLED screen at 1.5K resolution, a beefier 8,000mAh battery, and a more rugged IP69-rated build. Both devices are expected to be priced around CNY 1,000 in China — translating to roughly Rs 14,000 in India.
