Actor Neetu Kapoor on Thursday remembered her late husband, actor Rishi Kapoor, with a social media post on his sixth death anniversary. Rishi Kapoor, one of Hindi cinema's most celebrated actors, died at the age of 67 on April 30, 2020.

The couple's daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, son-in-law Bharat Sahni and film distributor Raj Bansal also shared tributes on social media.

Neetu Kapoor's post

On Thursday, Neetu shared a candid photograph with Rishi on her Instagram story. The picture captured the couple in a warm and smiling moment. She captioned it, "Always in our hearts (sic)".

The couple were married on January 22, 1980. They worked together in several films, including Amar Akbar Anthony, Khel Khel Mein, Rafoo Chakkar, Kabhi Kabhie and Besharam.

Tributes from family and friends

Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also posted a personal message for her father. Sharing a portrait of her late father, she wrote, "Until we meet again. I'll keep celebrating you, loving you and missing you, always (sic)."

Her husband, Bharat Sahni, also shared a family photograph and wrote, "Remembering you today and always. You will forever remain in our hearts (sic)."

Raj Bansal posted a candid picture of Rishi and Neetu with actor Sanjay Dutt. He captioned it, "Missing my dearest buddy (sic)."

Rishi and Sanjay had shared screen space in films such as Hathyar and the 2012 remake of Agneepath.

Upcoming work projects

On the work front, Neetu and Riddhima will be seen together in Daadi Ki Shaadi. The film also marks Riddhima's acting debut and is set to release on May 8. It is produced by Rtake Studios, BeingU Studios and Shimla Talkies Production, and is written and directed by Ashish R Mohan.

Earlier this week, Neetu and her son, actor Ranbir Kapoor, were seen dancing to the film's song Senti during a paparazzi appearance. The video has since gone viral.

In another recent interaction, Riddhima said that before she faced the camera for the film, Ranbir advised her to stay honest, trust her instincts and live the character rather than try to perform it.
