Man, nephew critically injured in sword attack in Bhubaneswar, Probe underway

Bhubaneswar: In a latest case of violence in capital city Bhubaneswar, a man and his nephew were critically injured after being attacked by sword-wielding miscreants over past enmity near the Dalakhai temple in the city.

According to reports, a group of youths reportedly attacked the the man and his nephew with sharp swords near the temple.

The duo has sustained serious injuries and has been admitted at a private hospital.

The attackers were suspected to be from the Haladiapada area. The reason behind the attack is said to be past enmity.

A complaint has been registered at the Laxmisagar police. Acting on the complaint, the Laxmisagar police has initiated an investigation into the case.
