Mercedes-Benz hikes prices of several models in India

Mercedes-Benz has implemented an upward price revision for several models across its portfolio. With the price hike, select Mercedes-Benz cars have now become costlier by Rs 1.2 lakh to Rs 7.4 lakh. The price hike has been impacted the prices of models of GLA, GLC, GLE, S-Class, AMG models, and the ultra-luxury Maybach range.
The model which was the most impacted by the price hike is the Mercedes-AMG G-Class. The Mercedes-AMG G-Class SUV has received an upward price revision of Rs 7.4 lakh., taking it’s cost to start from Rs 3.74 crore (ex-showroom).
The Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 has also received a notable hike of Rs. 5 lakh and now retails at Rs. 4.30 crore (ex-showroom).
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class has become costlier by Rs. 3.6 lakh, while the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class commands an additional Rs. 2.5 lakh over its earlier asking price. Among the AMG offerings, the AMG CLE is now dearer by Rs. 2.5 lakh and is priced at Rs. 1.32 crore (ex-showroom), whereas the CLE Cabriolet has received a price increase of Rs. 2.1 lakh, taking its price to Rs. 1.15 crore (ex-showroom).

The Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV has also become more expensive by Rs. 2 lakh. Depending on the variant, it is now priced at Rs. 2.40 crore and Rs. 2.65 crore (both ex-showroom).
Elsewhere in the range, the GLE and GLC SUVs have become dearer by Rs. 2 lakh and Rs. 1.5 lakh, respectively. Entry into the Mercedes-Benz SUV lineup is also marginally more expensive, with the GLA receiving a price hike of Rs. 1.2 lakh.
The revised prices are effective immediately across Mercedes-Benz dealerships in India.
